CASEY -- Teutopolis blanked Casey-Westfield 4-0 in high school softball competition Monday.

The Wooden Shoes edged out to a 1-0 lead in the third inning then tacked on three more runs in the fifth.

Kadi Borries pitched a three-hitter with two walks and 12 strikeouts. The Shoes had nine hits led by Apke with a single, double and two RBI, Repking, Drees and Anni Borries all had two singles each. Drees added an RBI.

T-town improves to 11-1 on the season while Casey-Westfield drops to 4-1.

At Odin

Odin had an 11-run second inning and downed Dieterich 21-8 in five innings via the 10-run rule.

The Eagles took a 6-2 first inning lead. Dieterich went ahead 7-2 in the top of the second but Odin came back with 11 runs in the bottom of the frame.

Maddie Bannick led Dieterich with a triple, home run and five RBI while Kelsey Webb added a home run and two RBI.

Odin was led by Bailey Spears with a single, three home runs and six RBI and Kaylyn Nalewajka with a double, two home runs and three RBI.

Sullivan came calling and claimed a 17-3 win over Neoga in five innings. Sullivan held a 7-3 lead until the fourth then broke the game wide open with 10 runs.

Sullivan had 20 hits in the contest while Neoga had five. Neoga was led by Neece with a homem run and three RBI and Estay with two singles.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg handed South Central a 17-1 loss in five innings.

WSS took a 5-0 first inning lead then added seven in the third and five more in the fourth.

Megan Schlechte pitched the win, allowing three hits and striking out five.

Cole had three singles and an RBI while Schlechte had a single, home run and five RBI, Roney, a double, two home runs and five RBI, Rentfrow a single, double and an RBI, Tabbert two singles, Quast two singles and an RBI and Everett two singles and three RBI.

Cumberland picked up an 8-4 victory over Paris Monday evening.

The Pirates broke a 2-2 tie with a four-run sixth. Paris came back with three runs in the bottom of the seventh only to fall short.

Kyla Thornton had two singles, a double and drove in three runs while Katie Poe had two singles and an RBI.
