EPD Signup For Baseball, Softball Now Underway

It may only be February, but now is the time to register for Effingham Park Distrtict summer baseball and softball.

The leagues with a March 1 registration deadline are: Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League for third and fourth grades, Little League for fifth and sixth grades, Prep League for seventh grade and Junior Babe Ruth League for eighth, ninth and 10th grades.

Also girls softball leagues, Minor League for third and fourth grades, Prep League for fifth and sixth grades and Junior League for seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th grades.

Cost for these leagues is $30 residents/$60 non-residents.

The leagues with an April 15 signup deadline are: Boys Small Fry for kindergarten and first grades, Girls Small Fry for kindergarten through second grade, Pony League for second grade boys and T-Ball for four and five year old boys and girls. Cost to play these leagues is $25 residents/$57 non-residents.

The Park District will accept registrations after the deadlines and a $10 late fee will be assessed if there is still room in the league.
