Alli Brumleve threw a perfect game for Teutopolis Junior High School as the Shoes picked up a victory Saturday over Taylorville.

"Wow, what an outing from Alli Brumleve," said Teutopolis Coach Brittany Meyer. "Alli had Taylorville off balance with every pitch. She had great command on the mound with multiple strikeouts with her changeup. Alli also went two-for-three at the plate with a double to end the game 10-0, scoring two RBI.

"Mya Funneman had an outstanding game, going two-for-three with a triple with the bases loaded. Mya went five-for-six for the day and has been an amazing bat in the four hole."

T-town won two games Saturday against Taylorville and Sullivan. The Shoes beat Taylorville 10-0 in five innings and Sullivan, 15-0. Abby Bloemer pitched the first game, clinching a shutout. Bloemer went two-for-three in the first game, reaching base all three times.

"Abby has been our leadoff hitter and her on-base percentage has been crucial," said Meyer. "Overall, it was a wonderful day for softball and these girls played great."
