CISNE -- South Central Junior High School pushed its unbeaten record to 5-0 with a 12-1 win over Cisne in girls softball action Tuesday.

The Falcons held a 3-0 first inning lead and then scored over the next three innings before ending the game in the sixth with four runs.

Sydnee Garrett pitched a two-hitter with one walk and four strikeouts. Laney Webster had two singles, a double and an RBI. Harlee Brown had a home run and two RBI. Lauren Kramer added a single and triple and Kaylie Swift a triple and two RBI.

At Beecher City

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead and went on to beat Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick 13-3 in six innings.

WSS had 10 hits in the contest led by Hayes with a single, double, home run and three RBI, Brown with three singles and an RBI and Reynolds with two singles.

BCCH had four hits, singles by Carsen Burks, Zaryah Cyr, Alexis Vaughn and Sydney Lorton. BCCH drops to 0-6.

At Beecher City

Mulberry Grove outlasted St. Elmo/Brownstown 12-10. Mulberry Grove jumped out to an 8-2 first inning lead but had only four hits compared to 14 for SEB.

"Once again we had trouble out of the gate, giving up 10 runs in the first two innings, one earned," said SEB Coach Tom Fredrigon. "We absolutely dominated the game after that, outscoirng Mulberry Grove 10-2. Unfortunately the first two innings count as well."

Katelyn Maxey led SEB with three singles and three RBI while Natalie Oberlink had a single, double and two RBI, Cassidy Moss two singles and an RBI, Emma Gathe two singles and an RBI and Vayda Smith two singles and an RBI.

At St. Elmo
