Girls Prep League Results -- June 29

Crossroads Bank edged REMAX 8-7 in Girls Prep League softball competition Monday evening at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Crossroads held a 4-0 lead and led 7-2 going into the sixth. REMAX tied in the top of the sixth and Crossroads scored the winning run in the bottom of the frame.

Caroline McDevitt and McKenzie Wittenberg had two singles each for the winners. Emma Hardiek, Krysta Dasenbrock and Ellie Waymoth had a double each for REMAX.

In the second contest, Bahrn's Kubota and Spectrum Screen Graphics were tied at 2-2 after two innings. Bahrn's then tallied three runs in the third and fourth to pull out an 8-4 victory.

Riley Guy and Kimberly Brummer had two singles each for the winners. Gracie Hibbetts led Spectrum with two singles.

In the third contest, Joe's Pizza and Pasta edged Fonner Oral Surgery 11-9. Joe's stepped out to an 8-1 first inning lead and led 11-6 after three. Fonner came back with three runs in the fourth only to fall short.

Reese Jones led the winners with two singles and a double. Jaidi Davis and Camryn Duncan had a double each. Taylor Ritz led Fonner with a single and double.
