Minor, Prep Girls Softball Leagues -- June 15

The first games of both the Girls Minor League and Girls Prep League were contested but the second contests were rained out Monday evening at Evergreen Hollow Park.

MINOR LEAGUE

Heart & Home Realty defeated Murphy USA 6-2. Heart & Home took a 3-0 lead in the second and tacked on the other three runs in the third.

Maddie Kibler had a single and double for the winners while Sydney Kibler had two singles.

Abby Cunningham and Stacie Vonderheide had a double each for Murphy USA.

PREP LEAGUE

Joe's Pizza and Pasta blanked Crossroads Bank 12-0 in action in the Prep League.

Joe's jumped out to a 3-0 first inning lead and never looked back. Saidi Davis had a double and triple for the winners while Makayla Shoot had three singles.

Kassie Robson and Caroline McDevitt had a single each for Crossroads.
