Neoga Pounds South Central In Softball

FARINA -- Neoga tallied a single run in the first then went on a tear, scoring nine in the second and ending the game 14-1 in the fifth inning via the 10-run rule over South Central in softball competition Wednesday.

The Indians pounded out 15 hits in the contest that included a home run and seven doubles. Keieran Effner and Tiffany Roderick had a single and two doubles each. Roderick added one RBI and Effner two. Josie Taylor had a home run and two RBI. Nikki Miah had two doubles and two RBI.

Campbell led South Central with a double.

The Indians improve to 6-14 on the season.
