Aug. 31 Junior High Softball Roundup

Beecher City fell to Shelbyville 21-5 in five innings. Beecher City  held a 3-2 lead after the first inning. The score was tied at 4-4 after three. Shelbyville then took a 6-4 lead in the fourth.  Beecher City pulled within 6-5 in the top of the fifth.

But Shelbyville broke the game wide open with 15 runs in the bottom of the fifth. Beecher City finished with 11 errors in the contest.

Isabella Doty and Allison Day had two singles each for Beecher City. The squad falls to 4-14 on the season.
