Aug. 28 Junior High Softball Roundup

ALTAMONT -- Teutopolis Junior High School's softball squad picked up a 10-1 victory over Altamont Tuesday.

T-town's Jessica Drees pitched a four-hitter with one walk and four strikeouts. She aided her own cause with a single, triple and an RBI while Raegan Drees had two singles, a triple and an RBI.

T-town stands at 10-4 and will be back in action Thursday at Salem Franklin Park.

Beecher City took a 5-1 lead in the third inning and went on for a 6-1 victory over host Ramsey.

Beecher City had seven hits in the contest led by Olivia Witteborg with two singles and Isabella Doty with a single and a double. Claire Gardner chipped in with a double. Doty had three RBI.

Beecher City is now 4-12 on the season.
