TEUTOUPOLIS -- Effingham St. Anthony's Jenna Woltman pitched a no-hitter as her team edged Teutopolis 4-3 Monday evening.

Woltman allowed no hits with two walks and 12 strikeouts. The Bullpups took a 1-0 first inning lead but T-town came back with two runs in the bottom of the second. St. Anthony tied in the third and took a short 3-2 lead in the top of the fourth. T-town tied in the bottom of the frame before St. Anthony tallied another run in the fifth and that proved to be the game-winner.

Woltman aided her own cause with three singles.

T-town stands at 7-2 overall and 1-2 in the South Central Conference and will be back in action today hosting Jasper County in a doubleheader. St. Anthony will play host to Sullivan today.

Altamont downed Altamont Lutheran 14-7 behind 11 hits and 10 errors by Lutheran.

Altamont Lutheran led 6-5 after three innings but Altamont came back to tie the score in the fourth then broke the game open with a seven-run sixth.

Shelby Sims went three-for-four with three RBI for the winners. McKenzie Goldstein and Ashley Goeckner had two hits each. Goeckner drove in three runs while Goldstein had two RBI.

Stewardson-Strasburg came calling and took home an 8-2 victory over Beecher City.

Stew-Stras had 10 hits in the contest led by Ballinger with two singles and a double and Newkirk with two singles.

Beecher City drops to 2-10 overall and 1-2 in the National Trail Conference.
