Altamont Lutheran Tournament
Beecher City fell to Noble 13-2 in its first game of the Altamont Lutheran Tournament Saturday. Noble blasted out 18 hits in the win. Beecher City had two hits, singles by Felicia Johnson and Sarah Kirchhofer.

Edwards County (Albion) claimed an 11-1 win over Beecher City in five innings. Beecher City had three hits in the contest, all singles by Johnson, Isabella Doty and Taylor Oldham.

Beecher City handed Altamont Lutheran a 15-4 loss in five innings. Beecher City had 11 hits in the contest led by Doty with two triples and four RBI. Allison Day and Elizabeth Day had a single, double and an RBI each.

At St. Anthony
Effingham St. Anthony split victories in weekend junior high softball action. In Friday play, the Bullpups fell to Paris Crestwood 10-2 but came back Saturday to trounce Paris Mayo 15-5.
In Friday play, the Bulldogs had six hits. Jenna Woltman picked up the tough-luck loss throwing a five-hitter with three walks and 10 strikeouts. Woltman led offensively with three singles.
In Saturday play, St. Anthony's Abbie Schmidt was the winning pitcher on a one-hitter with seven walks and four strikeouts. Laura Gurtner, Woltman and Schmidt had two singles each. Schmidt drove in two runs.

At Shelbyville
Teutopolis edged Shelbyville 6-5 to improve to 7-1 on the season. Shelbyville took the early lead but T-town came back with two runs in the second then had to come back a second time after Shelbyville took a 4-1 lead in the fifth. T-town tallied three in the sixth.
Jessica Drees pitched a seven-hitter with no walks and six strikeouts to improve to 3-0. Raegen Drees had a single and a two-run homer. J. Drees had two singles and two RBI. Lauren Lustig had two singles.
T-town is back in action Monday hosting St. Anthony.

Altamont blanked Beecher City 16-0 in four innings via the 15-run rule Friday. Altamont banged out 13 hits in the contest and was aided by six Beecher City errors.
Audrey Winters picked up the no-hitter win. Brooke Burns had two singles, a triple and two RBI. Winters aided her own cause with two singles, a home run and two RBI. Carly McHugh had a home run and three RBI.
