Junior High Softball -- Sept. 2

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis Junior High School trailed Altamont 6-4 going into the fourth inning of softball competition Tuesday but came back with a two-run fourth, an eight-run fifth and a three-run seventh for a 17-8 victory. The game was originally scheduled at Altamont but moved to T-town because of wet grounds.

M. Mette had two singles for the winners while K. Lustig had a double and two RBI. E. Will had three RBI with no hits. O. Niemerg had two singles and an RBI.

Altamont was led by L. Mayahus with two singles and an RBI and J. Schultz with two singles.
