Effingham Flame Softball Clinic, Tryouts Set

Effingham Flame clinic and tryouts for the upcoming 2015 season for ages 8u and 10u will be held Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2 from 8-10 a.m. at Evergreen Hollow Park.

All girls, ages 7-10 years as of December 31, 2014, are eligible to attend clinic and tryouts for the 8u and 10u teams. Girls will ne instructed on the basics of hitting, throwing and fielding. All campers will receive a T-shirt.

The 10 and under team tryout will be held immediately after clinic Saturday, August 2. For questions, contact Glen Phillips at 217-246-2735. This is the number that can be phoned in case of weather questions as well.

The clinic registration for 8u and 10u needs to be received no later than July 22. Girls may register, attend clinic and tryout after that day but will not receive a T-shirt.

Send a check for $30 to Effingham Flame Softball, P.O. Box 958, Effingham, IL 62401. Send along with the name of the child, birthdate, parent's name, emergency and weather contact phone. Also send whether your child will be tyriug out for the 8u team or the 10u team and the T-shirt size.
