Several Area Athletes on H&R All-Area Team

A number of area softball players were named to the Decatur Herald and Review All-Area Team, not too surprising when you consider two area teams played for state championships this season.

Altamont's Deidre Ledbetter was named the All-Area Player of the Year. Also on the first team: Kadi Borries of Teutopolis, Allison Apke of Teutopolis, and Madison Ohnesorge of Altamont.

Second team honorees included Kaylee Carlen of Cumberland, Lauren White of Altamont, Hunter Niebrugge of St. Anthony, Lauren Ohnesorge of Altamont, Kendall Knop of Stew-Stras/Windsor; and Anni Borries of Teutopolis.
