Bulldogs Claims Soccer Victory

St. Anthony High School hosted Centralia Christ Our Rock Lutheran in varsity soccer competition Saturday and blanked the visitors 3-0.

Freshman Ryan Kruger scored his first varsity goal on a feed from Frank Jansen for the Bulldogs. Benton Hakman and Jonas Armburg also scored goals.

"The Christ Our Rock Lutheran squad has improved year after year and always seem to make a good game of it," said St. Anthony Coach Scott Demers. "Our MVP was Ashley Dietzen who played multiple positions and in the last 10 minutes had to sub for starting goalkeeper Zach Tegeler. Dietzen held the line on a number of shots and kept the shutout intact."

The Bulldogs are now 5-3-3 on the season and back in action at Altamont Tuesday.
