Charleston Red & Gold Soccer Tourney Schedule Changed

There will be no games during the week but the contests have now been moved to Saturday. Each team will play two games.

In Pool A are Charleston, Danville and St. Thomas. In Pool  B are Effingham, Altamont and Newton. In Pool C are Teutopolis, Rantoul and Richland County, Olney and in Pool D are Mattoon, Robinson and Arthur-Okaw Valley.

Six points will be given for a win and three points for a tie. Goals: one point per goal with a maximum of three points during pool play.

Following are the updated pairings for Saturday:

Pool A, Field 1

Match 1 -- Charleston vs. Danville, 9 a.m.

Match 2 -- Danville vs. St. Thomas, 10:30 a.m.

Match 3 -- Charleston vs. St. Thomas, noon

Pool B, Field 2

Match 1 -- Effingham vs. Altamont, 9 a.m.

Match 2 -- Altamont vs. Newton, 10:30 a.m.

Match 3 -- Effingham vs. Newton, noon

Pool C, Field 3

Match 1 -- Teutopolis vs. Rantoul, 9 a.m.

Match 2 -- Rantoul vs Richland County, Olney, 10:30 a.m.

Match 3 -- Teutopolis vs. Richland County, Olney, noon

Pool D,  Field 4

Match 1 -- Mattoon vs. Robinson, 9 a.m.

Match 2 -- Robinson vs. Arthur/Okaw Valley, 10:30 a.m.
