Effingham High School saw its season come to a close in its own Class 2A Soccer Regional Wednesday.

The Hearts fell to Highland, 5-2.

In the opener, Troy Triad blanked Salem, 9-0.

Highland and Troy Triad will square off at 4 p.m. Friday for the regional championship.
