Teutopolis Improves to 10-1 w/Win Thursday

The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes soccer team contined to roll Thursday, defeating Centralia 6-5.

Ethan Thoele had a great night, scoring four goals with one assist. Also for the Shoes: Cooper Tegeler and Carter Davidson each scored a goal. Cooper Tegeler and Gavin Tegeler each had an assist, and keeper Noah Thompson had seven saves.

The Teutopolis varsity improved to 10-1 on the season.

Teutopolis won the JV action 5-1.

Joey Probst scored two goals and Landyn Buening, Isaac McWhorter and Simon Lee scored one each. Tyler Petersen had four assists and Keeper River Vahling had five saves.

The JV Shoes are now 6-0. 

Teutopolis is back to its home pitch on Saturday, hosting Trenton Wesclin. The varsity will start at 11am, with JV action to follow.
