Newton Wins St. Anthony Soccer Regional 2-1 Over Teutopolis

The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes fell 2-1 to Newton in the Regional Soccer Final at St. Anthony Friday. The Teutopolis goal was scored by Nolan Runde assisted by Josh Habing.

The Wooden Shoes close out their season with a record of 16-2-2 and were back-to-back St.Anthony / Teutopolis Tournament Champs!

Leading the Shoes in goals scored were:
Ethan Thoele- 22 goals
Nolan Runde- 16 goals
Josh Habing- 10 goals

Leading the Shoes in assists were:

Ethan Thoele- 10

Keeper Jackson Kinkelaar and the defense had 11 clean sheets out of the 20 total Teutopolis games this season.
