T-town Falls In Regional Soccer, EHS In Action Saturday

Teutopolis High School saw its season come to a close in the Class 1A Raymond Lincolnwood Soccer Regional Wednesday.

The host squad, Raymond Lincolnwood, edged the Wooden Shoes, 1-0.

In the opening match, Carlinville blanked Pana, 4-0.

It will now be Raymond Lincolnwood against Carlinville Saturday for the regional championship at 11 a.m.

 

Class 2A Bethalto Civic Memorial Regional

Effingham will open regional play at the Bethalto Civic Memorial Regional Saturday.

The Hearts, seeded ninth, will travel to Litchfield Co-op for an 11 a.m. contest. Litchfield is seeded eighth.

In other regional action next Wednesday, Bethalto Civic Memorial will face the winner of the EHS/Litchfield contest at 4 p.m. while Mattoon will take on Charleston at 6.
