MOUNT VERNON -- Effingham High School fell to Mount Zion by a 9-0 count in soccer competition Wednesday.

"They moved the ball well and our defense just did not hold up," said EHS Coach Weston Peno. "Gerard Herrara and Jackson Doedtman had a few good looks on goal but could not get anything to land. Roy was in goal today and made a few key saves."
