Effingham High School ended the soccer season with a victory over Teutopolis Thursday and celebrated its seniors.

"We had a great game against Teutopolis," said EHS Coach Weston Peno. "We went out ready to control the ball and keep a tight defensive approach toward them as they are good at moving the ball downfield and finding opportunities quickly.

"However, we managed to hold possession on our side a large majority of the time. With nearly 20 shots on goal, I must commend their goalie. He did an excellent job."

Goals for the Hearts were by Osvaldo Angel, Armando Estrada and Dylan Cunningham. Brandon Duncan had four saves.
