St. Anthony's goal against Pinckneyville was by Jack Elder who took a throw in from Reilly Ashton and put it in the back off the net and the Bulldogs held the second half lead 1-0. But Pinckneyville came right back with a goal of their own and another later with 16 mintues left in the second half.

"It was a very physical game and had a lot of players hurting or cramping by the end of the game," said St. Anthony Coach Martin Reyes. "Jack had six shots, all on goal while Luke Swingler had four shots, two on goal. Will Swingler and Reilly Ashton provided a lot of support in the attack and Grace Hakman in the defense. Will Fonner and Adam Brandenburger had countless steals and key defensive plays.

"Against Teutopolis we tried to play a defensive game since we know that T-town is a good team and some of our players were not 100 percent."
