KC Soccer Award Winners Announced

The Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge was held October 24 with Don Williamson and Tom Bowlin co-chairing the program and with assistance from their wives Nancy and Caroline and Justin Williamson. There were 18 participating with eight advancing to the regional competition at Sister City Park in Charleston November 7.

All that were able to attend the regionals were in the top three and received medals. Claire and Bridget Sudkamp were unable to attend due to a family event. Armando Estrada finished with a Gold Medal and advanced to the State Finals Saturday, November 21 in Charleston. The Council winners and their placing at the regional were:

13 boys Ivan Angel  – Silver

12 boys -- Tom Unkraut, Bronze

11 boys -- Eli Link, Bronze

10 boys -- Armando Estrada, Gold, advances to State Finals

9 boys -- Samuel Link, Silver

12 girls -- Claire Sudkamp

11 girls -- Bridget Sudkamp

10 girls -- Paige Sherrod, Silver
