St. Anthony traveled to Decatur to play host Decatur St. Teresa Saturday.

"Coming into the game we knew this was going to be a tough, tough opponent," said St. Anthony Coach Eric Morales. "It was a very, very nice day, temperature was just right. Game started out very aggressive, in fact much of the game there was lots of contact between players.

"The first half was very even. St.Teresa had only shot shots on goal to our four. St. Teresa double- and at times triple- teamed Ryan Kruger the whole game. With just minutes left in the game, James Kabbes had a throw that just missed the head of Ryan only to bounce off of the back of a st. Teresa defender and go in. St. Anthony went up 1-0 before the half ended.
"In the second half, St.Teresa came out very strong and controlled the pace of the game. They had 10 shots on goal pressuring us nonstop. Our defense stepped up as did the keeper and held St. Teresa for a 1-0 win."

St. Anthony now moves to 8-1-0 and travels to Breese Central Tuesday.
