"It was a big sloppy mud mess tonight at Bulldog Field," said St. Anthony Coach Eric Morales. "Temperatures were down and there was a cool brisk breeze blowing through the field. It was Senior Night, honering those who will be graduating from our soccer team. Those four seniors are Peter Keller, Thomas Stephens, Ben Esker and Sean Griffith. They played a great game this evening and they will be missed a great deal when they are gone.

"This game is always the biggest game of the year, every player has to be healthy and ready for this specific game. Game starts and it was much of what everyone expected, a battle of two great teams, ourselves and Teutopolis, each waiting for one or the other to make a simple mistake to contour on it. With only a few minutes into the game, James Kabbes had a nice throw in, then launched it right into the goal only to find Chandler Martelli and his forehead for a nice finish into the back of the net, putting us up 1-0 right away.

"T-town came back and played aggressive, but we held our own and kept them to no goal when the whistle was blown for the half. We discussed a few key points and strategy. T-town came out quick and ready for whatever we had for them. Eventually we broke them down and played the rest of the game to the best of our ability. With only minutes left, a loose ball came rumbling in our defense area. Our keeper tried to come out, Justin Deters got to the ball first and squeaked it in, making the score a 1-1 tie.

"All-in-all the game was amazing, and all the hard work that was put in to the Senior Night. Congratulations to our team and best of luck to all the seniors."
