(Columbus, OH) -- Ohio State is giving former school president Gordon Gee a $5.8-million retirement package. The 69-year-old Gee retired July 1 after criticism for earlier comments directed at Notre Dame and the SEC. Gee said Notre Dame was not a good fit to join the Big Ten because its religious leaders are not "good partners." He also jokingly referred to the Notre Dame priests as "those damn catholics."
