EHS Cheer Team Takes, First, Second At Carterville Invite

Effingham High School's competitive cheer team competed in the Carterville Invitational Saturday.
There were 20 teams from central and southern Illinois competing for titles in JrHigh routine, Game Day routine, Medium Varsity Routine and Small Varsity Routine.
Effingham finished first in Medium Varsity Routine and second in Game Day.
The Hearts will compete Saturday, Feb. 1 at the IHSA MascoutahCompetitive Cheer Sectional for a chance to advance to the IHSA competitive cheer finals Friday, Feb. 6
