Altamont Has Busy Scholastic Bowl Week

It was a busy week for Altamont Scholastic Bowl last week.
 
Tuesday, Nov. 12  the varsity team defeated St. Anthony 220-150. Captain Noah Stanley led in individual points with 40. Additionally, varsity defeated Windsor 300-110. Stanley again led in individual points scored with 50, followed by Dayton Tabbert with 30 and Zach Reyes with 20.
 
That evening the junior varsity team lost to St. Anthony 270-170, but defeated Windsor 300-220. Larson Burns led in individual points with 50.
 
In Thursday, Nov. 14's home match against Neoga, the JV team won 210-180 in overtime. This was a team effort as many players scored individual points and a majority of points scored were from team-based bonus questions.
 
The varsity defeated Neoga 170-120 and South Central 150-30. Stanley again led in individual points scored, with 50 against Neoga and 60 against South Central.
 
Altamont Scholastic Bowl has another home meet this Thursday and will be competing against North Clay and Stew Stras.
