Lake Land College Second At USA College Clay Target League Nationals

Lindenwood University, Mo. won the 2024 USA College Clay Target League National Championship out of 17 teams.

Taking second place was Lake Land College in Mattoon. It is only the second year for the cross country program coached by Josh Fulk.

Williston State College of North Dakota finished third.

Out of 200 shooters, Lake Land College's Jaxson Wilson was the top individual.

Following Wilson as champion were Brandon Himes third, Ethan Heuerman 10th, Austin Carlen 25th, Luke Ruholl tied for 41st, Garrett Hoene 69th, Kaiden Kohnert 93rd, Morgan Buerster tied for 127th and Macie Weichman tied for 133rd.

In the Gold Division, Brandon Himes was second, Ethan Heuerman eighth, Austin Carlen 18th, Lucas Ruholl tied for 29th and Garrett Hoene 46th.

In the Silver Division male, Jaxson Wilson was first.

In the Silver Division female, Morgan Buerster was fourth, Miley Britton tied for sixth and Macie Weichman tied for ninth.
