Kyle Husted Claims Four Wins At State Fair Harness Racing During Weekend

Husted claimed one victory Friday behind Thebeautfulthings in the Illinois State Fair Colt Stakes Elimination Two-Year-Old FIllies Pace.

Husted guided the filly to the victory in 1:53 2/5.

In Saturday's races, Husted picked up a victory in the Three-Year-Old Fillies Pace. He won behind Fox Valley Sadie in 1:51 1/5.

In the Three-Year-Old Colts & Geldings Pace, Husted drove Doctor Cruise to the victory in 1:50 4/5.

Husted then won behind Fox Valley Landen in the final race of the day, the Horses & Geldings Four-Year-Olds & Up Pace. The duo crossed the finish line in 1:50.

Husted's wife Amy trained all four winners.

Casey Leonard was behind six winning horses in Friday's action. Leonard drove Rk'smack to the win in the Two-Year-Old Fillies Pace in 1:56 3/5. He then took Whiskey Lou to victory in the Three-Year-Old Fillies Trot in 1:56.  He was behind Mustang Danny in the Two-Year-Old Colts & Geldings Trot as the winner crossed the line in 2:01. In race 11, Leonard won with Lous Private Eye in the Three-Year-Old Colts & Geldings Trot in 1:56 1/5.

He then had back-to-back wins in the final two races on the card. He won behind Fox Valley Vitali in the Two-Year-Old Colts & Geldings Pace in 1:53 1/5. Then in the Two-Year-Old Colts & Geldings Pace, he won with Cash Money Twenty in 1:51 2/5.

Leonard added two more wins Saturday in the Non-winners of  $10,000 Lifetime Pace with Cal Boy in 1:54 2/5 and in the Three-Year-Old Fillies pace with Dandy's Ms Swifty. The pair went across the finish line in 1:53 4/5.
