Casey Leonard Drives Four Horses To Win At Effingham Co. Fair

Sunday's card of 12 races was rained out and was contested first on Monday. Leonard claimed all four of his victories from Sunday's card.

He opened with a win in the first race of the day, the Al & Mary Lea Jeffers Memorial Stakes 2-Year-Old Filly Pace, First Division. He sat behind Fox Valley Beth and the pair went the distance in 2:03 4/5 for the win.

Leonard won in the third race, the 2-Year-Old Filly Pace, Third Division, He guided Wildcat Abby to victory in 2:02 2/5.

He then had back-to-back wins as he took the fourth race, this time behind Lou Of I in the 2-Year-Old Filly Trot, First Division. Lou Of I went the distance in 2:09 4/5.

In the final race of Sunday's card, Leonard won behind Lous Andiamo. The duo won with a time of 2:01 1/5.

Wyatt Avenatti and Travis Seekman were right behind Leonard in victories with three each.

Avenatti won the Al & Mary Lea Jeffers Memorial Stakes 2-Year-Old Filly Pace, Second Division. Avenatti, behind Pd's Rum Runner went the distance in 2:05 2/5.

Avenatti then drove He'sadarkshak to the win in the Al & Mary Lea Jeffers Memorial Stakes, 2-Year-Old Colt Pace, First Division. Avenatti guided the colt to the victory in 2:03.

The third win came in race 10, the Al & Mary Lea Jeffers Memorial Stakes 2-Year-Old Colt Trot, Second Division. Behind Shady Maple Becker, Avenatti guided the 2-year-old to victory in 2:07 4/5.

Travis Seekman had a victory on the Sunday card and two wins in Monday's races.

Seated behind Kays In Charge in the Al & Mary Lea Jeffers Memorial Stakes 2-Year-Old Filly Trot, Second Division, the pair went tthe distance in 2:09 1/5.

Seekman then came back with two wins on Monday's card. He claimed the second race, the Big 10 3-Year-Old Colt Trot. Deenbo claimed the victory with Seekman in the bike in 2:04 4/5.

Then in the fourth race, the Big 10 3-Year-Old Colt & Filly Pace, Second Division, Seekman took I Understand to victory in 2:02.
