Three EHS Wrestlers Place At Murdale Invitational

The Hearts competed Friday and Saturday.

Saul Ellis captured seventh place in the 150 pound division. He won over Cooper Lobeck of Salem with a pin in 3:45. He downed Russell Tate of Centralia 8-7. He fell in two matches before finishing out with a victory over Matthew Walsh of Breese Central, 13-8.

Kaiden Stewart and Baker Moon both captured eighth place finishes.

Stewart won over Benjamin Kale of McCracken County with a pin in 5:30. He then fell in the next three matches and finished eighth.

Moon took two opening round victories. He downed Anthony Miller of Carbondale with a pin in 1:24. He then won a 13-2 decision over Kadyn Cummins of Harrisburg.

The Hearts competed in nine divisions. All brackets were either 24-man or 32-man brackets.
