Effingham High School varsity volleyball award winners were, left to right, Bella Austin, Olivia Katt, Sidney Donaldson, Berkley Pullen, Hannah Thompson, Bria Beals, Raegen Boone and Angela Ballman.

Effingham High School's fall sports awards were presented Saturday at the sports banquet.

Varsity volleyball awards went to Bella Austin (hitting, most digs), Sydney Donaldson (blocking), Bria Beals (most digs), Berkley Pullen (serving percentage), Hannah Thompson (most assists), Angela Ballman (captain), Olivia Katt (captain) and Raegan Boone (captain)

Letterwinners were Angela Ballman, Sidney Donaldson, Berkley Pullen, Hannah Thompson, Raegan Boone, Reaghan DeLong, Bria Beals, Olivia Katt, Bella Austin, McKenzie Love and Alyssa Martin. 

Junior varsity/freshman-sophomore volleyball awards went to Hannah Fouts (most improved), Macy Hayes (hustle), Alyssa Martin (hitting), Camdyn Burgholzer (setting), Averie Wolfe (hustle) and Layni Frey (most improved)

Effingham freshman/sophomore, junior varsity volleyball award winners were, left to right, Hannah Fouts, Maci Hayes, Alyssa Martin and Averie Wolfe. Not present were Camdyn Burgholzer and Layni Frey.

Cross country award winners for Effingham High School were, left to right, Alex Gordon, Adam Flack, Ino Mapes, Jessica Larsen and Gracie Eaton. Not present was Lauren Etheridge.

Cross country awards for boys went to Ino Mapes (most improved), Alex Gordon (most valuable runner) and Adam Flack (HEARTS award). Girls awards went to Lauren Etheridge (msot improved), Jessica Larsen (most valuable) and Gracie Eaton (HEARTS award).

Lettermen were Adam Flack, Aaron Hill, Alex Gordon, Evan Klngler and Ino Mapes.

Letterwinners for the girls were Gracie Eaton, Haddie Hill, Jessica Larsen, Morgan Springer, Baylee Summers, Audrey Wagoner and Drew Weis.

EHS boys golf award winners were, left to right, Blayne Pals and Max Seachrist. Not present was Jude Traub (best underclassman).

Boys and girls golf awards were presented. Boys winning awards were Max Seachrist (Most Valuable Player), Blaine Pals (Most Improved Player) and Jude Traub (Best Underclassman).

Lettermen for the boys were Evan Pryor, Ross Schaefer, Blayne Pals, Preston Siner, Max Seachrist, Rayden Schneider, Jack Poe, Brody Boehm, Cannon Bockhorn, Kaden Field, Jude Traub and Leo Wyckoff.

Girls golf awards went to Ella Tuman (Player of the Year), Elena Niebrugge (Sportsmanship award) and Natalie Armstrong (Most Improved).

Letterwinners were Elena Niebrugge, Mya Harvey, Grace Harper, Ella Tuman, Makenna Mayhood and Natalie Armstrong.

Winning awards for girls golf were, left to right, Ella Tuman, Elena Niebrugge, Grace Harper and Mckenna Mayhood.

Winning tennis awards for EHS were, left to right, Kendyll Schoonover, Sophia Williams, Charly Kreke, Kristen Armstrong and Izzy Volpi.

Tennis award winners were Izzy Volpi (Most Valuable Singles Player, Most Valuable Doubles Player), Kristen Armstrong (Most Valuable Doubles Player, Flaming Heart award), Charly Kreke (Most Improved Player), Sophia Williams (Spirit award) and Kendyll Schoonover (Holly Nosbisch Sportsmanship).

Letterwinners were Izzy Volpi, Charly Kreke, Kristen Armstrong, MaKenna Duckwitz, Scarlette Sorling, Kendyll Schoonover, Cora Hartman, Adalyn Hemrich, Abbie Cochran, Lindy Kalber and Ava Rogers.

Girls swimming letters went to Elizabeth Hirtzel, Elle Hohenbary, Ellyana Robinson and Sarah Hirtzel.
