Kings Handle Blackhawks In Game Three
(Los Angeles, CA) -- Jonathan Quick posted 19 saves to lead the Kings in a 3-1 win over the Blackhawks in Game Three of the Western Conference final. Kings right wing Dustin Brown says this was a game they had to win.
Slava Voynov had a goal and assisted on Justin Williams' score for Los Angeles, which still trails two games to one in the best-of-seven set. Dwight King sealed the deal with a late empty netter for the defending champs, who are now 8-and-0 on home ice this postseason. Bryan Bickell scored his seventh goal of the playoffs for Chicago. Corey Crawford made 25 saves in defeat. The Kings will host Game Four Thursday.
