Oxbow Upsets Orb At Preakness

(Baltimore, MD)  --  Horse racing fans will have to wait another year to have a Triple Crown winner.  Oxbow at 15-to-1 led wire-to-wire at the 138th running of the Preakness Stakes on Saturday to upset heavy favorite and Kentucky Derby winner Orb.  Orb finished in fourth while Itsmyluckyday came in second and Mylute was third.  Gary Stevens rode Oxbow to his third win in this event.  The third and final leg of the Triple Crown is June 8 with the Belmont Stakes.  Affirmed is the last horse to win the Triple Crown in 1978.
