Limitless Winner and trainer-driver J.D. Finn

ANDERSON, IND. -- Newton's J.D. Finn scored an upset in the final race at Hoosier Park Wednesday night, giving Limitless Winner a perfect drive to pull a 28-1 shocker in a $14,000 leg of the Beth Dutton Series for trotters.

Owned by Finn Racing of Newton and Allison Meinhart of Dieterich, Limitless Winner benefited from a patient drive by Finn, who waited until deep stretch and found room for a rail-skimming move to take the victory. The time for the mile was 1:55.1, which was a personal best for Limitless Winner.

In other action, Altamont native Neil Coleman trained Jacks Desire to a victory in a conditioned race for pacers, as Sam Widger had the winning drive. Jacks Desire was the 6-5 favorite and prevailed in 1:55, despite being wide around the first turn.
