Penguins Rout Red Wings, 11-2 In NHL

The Pittsburgh Penguins routed the Detroit Red Wings 11-2 Sunday night in the franchise’s first 11-goal game in nearly 30 years, since November 1993.

Pittsburgh’s scoring included a hat trick by Evgeni Malkin. For the reeling Red Wings, it was their ninth loss in 11 games.
