VANDALIA -- Effingham St. Anthony captured a 47-36 freshman/sophomore boys basketball victory over Vandalia Monday.

The Bulldogs edged out to a 7-6 opening quarter lead but Vandalia tied at the half, 19-19. The Bulldogs went on a 20-6 third quarter run to lead 39-25 and finished out strong.

Will Fearday led the way in scoring with 13 points while Aiden Braunecker added 12 and Elliot Frisbee 11.
