Canada defeated the U.S. 5-1 Thursday night in the women’s world hockey championship, ending the American women’s 29-game winning streak in the event, dating back to 2013.

The win set up Canada in a quarterfinal against Germany, and the U.S. will face Japan. The U.S. has won the last five championships, and nine of the last 11 overall.
