HOF Hockey Player Rod Gilbert Dies

Hockey Hall of Famer Rod Gilbert, who spent his entire 18-year National Hockey League career with the New York Rangers, died on Sunday. He was 80.Hockey 

Gilbert played in the 1960s and ‘70s, ending with 406 regular-season goals and 34 goals in the playoffs, and holds Rangers records for goals and points. Gilbert spent many years in the Rangers organization after the end of his player career, and his Number 7 jersey was the first number ever to be retired by the Rangers in 1979.
