Avenatti Has Three Wins, Patton Two In Harness Racing

Avenatti guided Sumbodygetdisfool to the win the opening race of the card, the Big 10 3-Year-Old Trot. The pair went the distance in 2:12 1/5.

Second went to Patton behind Big Approach.

Patton then claimed his first victory of the card behind Kandi's Fortune in the next race, the Big 10 3-Year-Old Filly Pace. He would get back-to-back victories.

Patton and Kandi's Fortune crossed the finish line with a time of 2:08 1/5. Second went to Avenatti behind Ryans Secret.

Patton then took the win in the Big 10 3-Year-Old Colt/Gelding Pace, Bc's Tufftiger, with Patton driving, crossed the finish line in first with a time of 2:04 4/5.

However, Avenatti took the driver's lead in the standings with two more wins, also back-to-back, and three seconds.

In the Open Pace, he drove He Gone Jack to victory in 2:03 2/5.

Then, in the Open Nonwinners 2 Pace, Avenatti went the distance in 2:07 4/5 behind Midnight Special.

Meanwhile, Michele Weinmann and Larry Plank also claimed driver's victories.

Weinmann drove Look Kimbo to the win in the Filly & Mare Pace, Division I. Look Kimbo went the distance in 2:03 4/5.

In Division II, Plank drove Lees Creek Flash to victory in 2:03 2/5.

Avenatti moved ahead in the driver's standings with three first place finishes and three seconds for 24 points while Patton had two firsts and a second for 13 points.
