Effingham Unit 40 Physicals, Pfizer Covid Vaccines Available

Effingham Community Unit #40 physicals have been scheduled for Monday, July 26 at the Effingham High School gym lobby.

The cost of the physical is $20, paid in cash or check made out to cash. The girls may enter to complete required paperwork at 5:15 p.m. that night with their physicals beignning at 5:30 p.m.

The boys may enter to complete their paperwork at 5:45 p.m. with their phsyicals beginning at 6 p.m. Doors will close at 7 p.m. All athletes must have a current physical prior to the start of practice.

In addition, the Family Care Associates of Effingham will be offering the Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine during the EHS sports physical night from 5:15-7 p.m. This vaccine will be given on a voluntary basis.

This vaccine is recommended by the CDC for 12 years old and up and is a two-shot series given three weeks apart. The links will provide more information about the vaccine and information can also be obtained by phoning the office with any questions.

Bring your health insurance card. There will be no balance billing to the parent or patient. Please contact the school office if there are any additional questions regarding athletic physicals.
