The Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Montreal Canadiens 1-0 on their home ice Wednesday night in Tampa to repeat as Stanley Cup champions, winning 4 games to 1.

Ross Colton scored the game’s lone goal for Tampa Bay in the second period, while goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy didn't allow Montreal to score, getting a series-ending shutout for an NHL-record fifth consecutive time dating to the 2020 final.

Vasilevskiy won the Conn Smythe Trophy as the playoffs MVP.
