EHS' Jon Perry Advances To State Wrestling Meet

High school wrestling regionals and sectionals were held over the last two weekends.

Effingham High School's Jon Perry, a junior, took second place in regional competition and finished fourth at sectionals to advance to the State Championship this Thursday in Springfield.

Effingham High School senior Zac Slifer finished fourth in regional competition and narrowly missed qualifying for State at sectionals.
