Lightning Blanks Hurricanes In NHL Playoff Game

The Tampa Bay Lightning blanked the Carolina Hurricanes 2-0 Tuesday night to win their second-round NHL playoff series 4 games to 1.

Brayden Point and Ross Colton scored the game’s only two goals for the reigning Stanley Cup champs.

In the next round, Tampa Bay will play the winner of the N.Y. Islanders-Boston Bruins series, which New York is leading 3-2.
