Hearts Drop Two Wrestling Matches

Monticello was a 57-19 winner over the Hearts. 

Jon Perry claimed a victory for Effingham at 152 pounds with an 11-1 decision over Cal Spence.

Zac Slifer defeated Kaleb Reid at 170 pounds with a 9-6 decision.

Wyatt Sparks took the win at 182 pounds with a pin over Ethan Alexander in 1:25. The Hearts also had a forfeit win at 126.

EHS then fell to host Vandalia, 54-12.

EHS had three victories. Perry picked up his second win of the day with a 2-1 decision at 152 pounds over Eric McKinney.

Zac Slifer won at 170 pounds with a 3-1 decision over Justin Procter. The Hearts had a forfeit win a 195 pounds.
