Ovechkin Joins Ownership Group Of Washington Spirit

Washington Capitals ice hockey star Alex Ovechkin has joined the ownership group of the Washington Spirit women's soccer team. He's the latest big name to invest in the National Women's League.

Others include Serena Williams, Nartalie POrtman, Naome Osaka and Billie Jean King. Ovechkin has been playing pro hockey for Washington for 16 years, and he says he and his wife are big soccer fans.
