NCAA Extends President Emmert's Contract

The NCAA Board of Governors voted unanimously Tuesday to extend President Mark Emmert's contract by two years, through 2025.

His contract had been set to expire in 2023. Emmert has been president since 2010, the second-longest tenure behind Walter Byers, who headed the NCAA from 1951 to 1988.
