Calgary Flames Fire Head Coach Ward

The Calgary Flames fired head coach Geoff Ward Thursday night, after the team went 11-11-2 to start the season.

He’s being replaced by Darryl Sutter, a head coach for several teams over 18 years, including for the Flames, and led the L.A. Kings to two Stanley Cup championships.
